Josh’s academic and professional journey is just as impressive as his athletic achievements. After earning his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Griffith University on the Gold Coast, he joined O’Neill Architecture in 2021. Balancing a rigorous academic schedule and a budding career with his passion for wheelchair rugby, Josh exemplifies dedication and perseverance.
Throughout his university years and continuing into his professional life, Josh has been deeply involved in wheelchair rugby. His commitment and talent in the sport have led him to represent both Queensland and Australia on the world stage. A pinnacle of his sporting career was winning the World Wheelchair Rugby Championships in Denmark in 2022 as part of the Australian Steelers Wheelchair Rugby team, Josh has travelled extensively, with the Australian Steelers team competing in countries like Japan, Canada, America, the United Kingdom, Denmark, and New Zealand.
Now, as Josh prepares for the Paralympics, he reflects on the support that has been crucial to his journey.
